How to demo Fusion

Six steps to show a new prospect Fusion receiving live orders.

Before the demo

  • A Windows 10 or later PC, 64-bit
  • Internet on that PC
  • An email address you can open, for the demo business

Step 1

Business Registration

Make a new demo business. Never use a customer's account.

Open Business Registration

  1. Business Name: 8 characters or more
  2. Business Type: Wholesaler or Distributor
  3. Email: yours. It becomes the Login ID.
  4. Contact Name and a 10 digit Contact Mobile
  5. Address: 20 words or more
  6. Click Register. Copy the Password shown.

Step 2

Download the simulator

The Closebee Simulator is a Windows app. It plays the buyers.

  1. Download simulator-desktop-0.1.9.exe (108 MB)
  2. Run the installer
  3. Open Closebee Simulator

Step 3

Take the Admin key

The simulator signs in with the demo business's key.

Open the Fusion web app

  1. Sign in with the Login ID and password from step 1
  2. Open Connect > Admin
  3. Under All keys, on the Admin row, click Copy: the middle of the three icons (1)
  4. Or click the key icon to open the key, then click Copy under the key box (2)
1. Click Copy on the Admin row.
2. Or open the key and copy it here.

Keep the key private. Anyone with it can sign in.

Step 4

Start the simulator

A Fusion key opens the Fusion view by itself.

About the simulator

  1. Paste the key into License key
  2. Click Sign in
  3. The Fusion view opens: Parties and Log
Paste the key, click Sign in.

Nothing runs until you press Start.

Step 5

Run the simulation

Five fixed parties buy from the demo business.

  1. Click Start
  2. Each party is checked, created or repaired, and linked
  3. Dots turn green: Connected 5/5
  4. A purchase order goes at once, then one every 30 seconds
  5. The Log shows Purchase Order and Sales Bill lines
  6. Click Stop to end

No runs from 11 PM to 3 AM in the business time zone. Demo data is cleaned up each night.

Step 6

View the output

Show the prospect the orders arriving in Fusion.

Open the Fusion web app

  1. A toast pops up: New order from a party. Click View.
  2. Open Party > Dashboard: today's sales by party, live
  3. Click Report: what to buy for the next 15 days
  4. Open Sales > Order, set Today: orders grouped by party
  5. Open Sales > OMS for the order board
  6. Click the bell: each new order, with View orders

If something goes wrong
